From dance halls to intimate theaters worldwide comes EOTO – the nation’s top innovator in glitchy electronic, bass thumping, dub-step themed music. What EOTO achieves on stage is nothing short of astounding. Performed with all of the bells and whistles of a traditional electronic artist plus the addition of live drums, vocals, bass and guitar, the duo creates each and every bass ridden noise right befor…e your eyes -without the addition of a single pre-recorded track. Known for their 100% live improvised performance, EOTO is breaking ground into a new sub culture of music while standing with some of the nations best live DJ’s in the country. With leagues of sold-out theater performances in 2009, the project started out as an avenue for the duo to blow off steam and generally just have a good time playing around with technology with music. Now, a full time project for the pair with a seemingly endless tour featuring over 600 shows in 4 years and sold out performances in every market in the country. With no signs of stopping, EOTO fine-tunes their approach and skill with each and every show they play, leaving the next performance more unique then the last.

Signal Path bends musical genres and deep melodic ideas around a core of unrelenting rhythm and massive low-end. They create a depth and intricacy of sound that become more commanding every time it’s heard, and by blending live instrumentation into their production they create a live experience that is as beautiful as it is intense. Born in the unlikely mountain enclave of Missoula , MT , Signal Path has r…eleased six full-length albums to date. After a two-year hiatus they released their second FREE album during the summer of 2009.

The viral success of 2009’s CLASH amongst fans was almost beyond belief, and the overwhelming support elevated the band to a level of national prominence they’d never experienced. With packed out concert halls nationwide and an album streamed and downloaded a hundred thousand times, Signal Path suddenly found themselves back at the forefront of a scene they had once helped pioneer.

After the success of CLASH and two of the most successful national tours in their history, Signal Path permanently relocated to Colorado to complete their next full-length studio album IMAGINARY LINES.

IMAGINARY LINES drops SEPTEMBER 1st and will be available as a free download through their website www.signalpathmusic.com.

In 1995 Khan leaves the frosty soil of the city of Montreal playing the bass for the International-Underground-Legends THE SPACESHITS. The band is produced by Mike Mariconda with a special guest appearance from the Fabulous Andy G (Devil Dogs). Khan founds the secret lodge of the KUKAMONGAS. During the oncoming years Khan tours across the States. Detroit, New Orleans, New York City, LA, San Francisco, Dallas, Tijuana etc. Khan doesn’t return from the first Spaceshits-Europe-Tour in summer of 1999. In Germany the young 22-year old Canadian founds a Psychedlic-Soul-Big-Band THE SENSATIONAL SHRINES. The first line-up includes Ron Streeter (live-percussionist of Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau and other Soul-Legends), as well as a horn section of rowdy teenagers, and a rhythm section which can only be called a german/french version of the Freak Brothers. Khan meets Fredovitch (Bordeaux’s wildest organ player) wearing a silverstudded gogo dress, matching cowboy hat and sporting a full beard. He dubs him into shrinehood only one week before recording their first album in Toe Rag Studio in London. THREE HAIRS & YOU’RE MINE is produced by Liam Watson. THE SHRINES grow into an all-star international movement. Their first concert in London is suspended by the police. The band escapes through the back-door. Numerous gigs will follow all across Europe, among others with the Demolition Dollrods, Mr.Quintron and Ms. Pussycat, an after-party for 50 cent, even a legendary stint at the Roskilde festival. In 2003 Khan encounters the Hazelwood-producers-team Gordon “Two Horses” Friedrich and Wolfgang “Amadeus” Gottlieb, who stage the second longplayer MR. SUPERNATURAL in the beginning of 2004.

Born and raised in New Orleans , Stanton Moore is a dedicated drummer and performer especially connected to the city, its culture and collaborative spirit. Driven and inspired by the thriving music scene of his hometown which includes such greats as Professor Longhair, Doctor John and The Meters, Moore ’s name is now mentioned amongst these Big Easy mainstays.

In the early ‘90s, Moore helped found the New Orleans-based essential funk band Galactic. Their first album, 1996’s widely acclaimed Coolin’ Off, led to an intense tour schedule of nearly 200 gigs a year for the next ten years. Building on their fan base by adding an esteemed list of all-star collaborations to the six albums that followed, Galactic continues to amass a worldwide audience via recording and touring globally.

In April 2010, Moore releases Groove Alchemy. The 12-track set is the culmination of Moore’s multimedia project that also includes an instructional book and DVD of the same name. All three facets of the project are designed to explore the roots of funk drumming by examining the work of pioneers like Jabo Starks, Clyde Stubblefield, and Zigaboo Modeliste – each of whom made their mark at different times throughout the 1960s as the engines driving James Brown’s and the Meters’ legendary rhythm sections –
and in turn tracing their influences back to the rhythms coming out of New Orleans in the earlier part of the 20th century.

Euforquestra is a cutting-edge, worldbeat ensemble from Iowa City, IA, with influence spanning a wide array of traditional music and culture from all over the globe. Educated in Cuba, the band has made a mission statement out of preserving cultural traditions, indiscriminately attempting anything at least once and fusing many worldly styles. The self-proclaimed “Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk” brings an explosive sound, moving cro…wds all over the nation, while touching on such genres as Afrobeat, Afro-Cuban, Samba, Soca, Funk, Reggae, Salsa, Calypso, and Bluegrass. As percussionist and lead vocalist, Matt Grundstad, puts it, “Euforquestra just wants to make people dance.” Although the band is most commonly grouped among the jamband community, Euforquestra’s music appeals to anyone and everyone with an “inclusive ‘everyone get in here’ sense of humor” (Jim Musser – renowned Iowa City music critic).

HD4000:
HD4000 is actually two people: Odeed and Wish. After producing breaks together under various aliases since 2003, they discovered dubstep one evening in San Francisco – playing breaks at a underground party for a close friend of theirs. Odeed and Wish were the only act that night that wasn’t playing dubstep, and after their set, they stayed to hear wh…at it was all about. They were pretty impressed, then after hearing some of 6Blocc’s tunes they decided to give it a go and made their first song as HD4000, “Guess Who”. The name HD4000 was inspired by the latest addition to their dual studios – the MPC4000, which replaced the MPC2000XL they used to sequence on. One of the main differences is that the new MPC has an internal hard drive, and so Hard Drive 4000 = HD4000. They received a lot of good feedback about “Guess Who” and continued making dubstep, eventually finding themselves up in the chat room of dubstep.fm with the radio deejays playing the newest tunes from HD4000. Before they knew it, Odeed and Wish had produced enough songs to compile HD4000’s first album, Nu-Step, and to their surprise, it became the number 1 downloaded dubstep album on Juno. They have releases out on several labels such as Filthy Digital, Dubstep Records, Left Side Recordings and their home label, W.E. Recordings. Artists they have worked with include some of the hottest producers in dubstep such as Kid Logic, The Widdler, Blackheart, Mr. Curtamos, Hellfire Machina, MK2, J Suave, Joint Forces, Caustik, Twitchdubs, and VoodooSteamBoat.
Now HD4000 has their own weekly show on dubstep.fm – Hits from the Hard Drive at 5pm PST on Sundays. Check it out, and join in with the dubstep.fm family in the chat room!
